The short version: LAN Scout has no account and no server. Everything you do stays on your device. We can't see it, because it never reaches us.
Information we collect
Nothing on our servers — we don't operate one for this app. LAN Scout does not ask for your name or email, has no login, and includes no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
LAN Scout has no account and makes no internet connections. Addresses and names of devices discovered on your local network are shown to you and stored only on your device, along with any Wake-on-LAN targets you save. There is no analytics and no data leaves your device.
Permissions
- Local Network — iOS requires your permission for any app to see other devices on your network. LAN Scout uses it only to list what is on your own Wi-Fi. Nothing about your network is sent anywhere.
Subscriptions
If you subscribe, Apple processes the payment and shares with us only whether your subscription is active. We never see or store your payment card details.
How information is shared
It isn't. There is no data on our side to share, sell, or disclose. The only third party involved is Apple, for subscription billing.
Children's privacy
LAN Scout is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we'll update the date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
