Miah Industries LLC is committed to making Sprout & Sow usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology.
What we've done
- VoiceOver. The app is built from standard forms, lists, and buttons with descriptive labels, so VoiceOver can navigate and operate almost all of it.
- Dynamic Type. Text uses the system's semantic styles and scales with your device's text-size setting.
- Standard controls. Voice Control and Switch Control can identify and operate the app's buttons, forms, and lists.
Known limitations
The raised-bed designer (tapping cells on a grid) and the property map (dragging beds directly on a satellite image) are spatial, drag-based interfaces that are hard to operate precisely with VoiceOver or Switch Control. Everything else in the app — adding beds, journal entries, plant lookup, and settings — is fully accessible through standard controls.
